For this project, we were required to add another element to an existing scene. I decided to add a door, with the room behind it being a Backrooms-inspired design that I created myself. I wanted the scene to create a sense of curiosity as you get closer to the door, making you wonder what is waiting on the other side.
Billboard
For this project, I decided to add a billboard sign to the scene. The goal was to seamlessly integrate the billboard into the environment so that it felt like a natural part of the scene rather than something that was simply placed there. I focused on making sure the sign matched the overall style and surroundings while still standing out as an intentional element.
Blending
For this project, I was required to match different elements to the initial background photo. I used techniques such as color correction, careful placement, and alpha maps to help integrate each element into the scene. The goal was to make the added elements blend naturally with the original image and create a cohesive final composition.
Small Changes
For this project, I added several small objects to the scene with the goal of making them appear as though they were originally part of the environment. I focused on their placement, scale, lighting, and overall integration so that they blended naturally with the existing scene. Although the objects were small, the main goal was to make them feel believable and as if they had always been there
